Default 2007 350z Cruise Control help

Just replaced the clock spring on my z, cruise control doesn’t work and the lights don’t turn on. However my horn does work and there’s no airbag light. Any advice, it isn’t my clock spring as every thing else works except the cruise control.

Did your Z come factory equipped with Cruise Control (What Trim level is it)? Was it working before the clock spring was replaced? Or was it always broken?

Need more information before giving advice.

Not all 350Zs had cruise control, but some owners have taken the time to add factory cruise or radio controls. Also, I believe there are different clock spring P/Ns depending on the year or trim of your Z. It's possible you got a part that doesn't support cruise control or perhaps it's simply defective. Was the replacement clock spring aftermarket or OEM?

If the Cruise System detects a malfunction, then trying to activate it will result in a rapid blink of the SET indicator lamp in the gauge cluster.

For the system to work properly you need the following.
1) Clutch (6MT) pedal switch
2) Brake pedal switch
3) Steering wheel controls
3) Factory Equipped trim that included cruise feature.
4) Re-flashed ECU for those that did not have factory equipped cruise.
5) Replacement Gauge Cluster with Cruise System LEDs to function for those without factory cruise.

Good Luck!
