Default Cd001 send help!

Need help! 350z cd001
I just recently pulled the trans as the other afternoon the car randomly struggled to go into gear, and then completely not going into gear. Shifted perfectly the night prior. I decided to replace the throw out bearing and fork retainer, and inspect the clutch. I assumed something was bent as i have a clutch rated for 550 and that I hear, can bend the stock fork. Clutch assembly is great. Only a year old McLeod. Plenty of material. full of trans and clutch fluid. New master, slave, clutch line. Fully bled. No bent fork. Put it all back together, and I could hear the TOB still whirling, like it’s not contacting the pressure plate. All gears cycle properly but won’t catch. I assumed maybe I did something dumb and reversed the clutch plate when installing. Spent the night removing it to find that it was installed correctly. Is there anything I’m possibly missing? I need suggestions!!!
so in short I’ve;
Aligned clutch assembly
Inspected all components (flywheel, clutch, pressure plate)
New slave
New master (bench bled)
New line
new throw out
New retainer.

no loss of acceleration in 1-6, standard 3rd grind but only ever that gear and only when cold. No shift delay, no slip, and no difficulty shifting until the day this started. Cars ran relatively easy for a sports car and I’ve taken the best care of it out of the past 2 owners.

Please for the love of the VQ, somebody please help a brother out.

Check your clutch fork pivot ball. If you have a 2003 350Z with the 6MT and the stamped steel clutch fork. Most likely your pivot ball for the clutch fork is broken or incorrect. If you replaced it with the shorter one, but did not also replace the stamped steel fork for the heavier duty cast iron one, then there's your problem.

The updated cast fork is thicker/heavier and is paired as a set with the shorter pivot ball.
The older design is thinner and uses the longer pivot ball, which is prone to breaking, especially with a heavier duty clutch.

This is a common enough upgrade that multiple online parts sellers have kits for this (LINK).

Good Luck!
