Missing relay...ODD
My son just purchased his first 350Z and we are still working a few bugs out to get it inspected for registration. It is a 2003 Performance model and has been cared for greatly with plenty of upgrades and maintenance performed through the years
We are prepping for the MD inspection and want to make sure that everything is good and the only issue now is the horn wont work. We have checked the fuses and the proper fitting of the wire/connectors. The "Security" horn for the locking mechanism and alarm was not plugged in and once it was, it gives off a squeak.
The regular horn won’t work at all. I checked the horns themselves and they appear to be “fine”. We replaced the horns anyway, but still nothing different.
I checked the fuses and all are fine and they were replaced just in case. There is NO relay though. In the small fuse box in the engine bay near the battery has spots for all items as normal, but NOT the horn relay. The cover shows it should be there, but it’s non-existent and not even a spot for one to be there.
Any insight in this is greatly appreciated …
