Default Techosquare, is it worth it???

Kind of new to the ECU thing. Been doing some reading on the Technosquare. Is it worth it. Will it 100% raise the redline fuel cutoff to 7,000 for sure? Also been reading it's important after several mods are made to add the Technosqare to get the car to understand you made these changes and to get the most out of them. Any truth to this or is it just a marketing B/S??

There are many people here who will extoll the virtues of the TS ECU reprogramming. It would have to be a huge conspiracy for them all to be lying. Your car is tuned from the factory for a stock engine/intake/exhaust. It just stands to reason when you change those things, thus changing the airflow characteristics of the engine you'd need to change the ECU programming.

Oh, and yes it definitely raises the redline.

In my opinion, the TS ECU was one of my best mods. I found it irritating that the stock fuel cut-off would dictate when I had to shift. I had the ECU re-flashed after installing the JWT, RT Cats, Stillen exhaust. I did not feel a huge increase in power. However, what was noticable to me was that my car ran much smoother/cleaner after the flash. My Redline was raised to 7100 and the top speed govenor removed.
