I just got back tonight from D1 and have to say it was the best car event that I have been to ever. A myriad of beautiful show cars, models, and most important, drift cars. The action was intense and I found myself constantly picking rubber off my face when standin gin the infield. Not only that I was able to see the competing vehicles up close and chat with the drivers. Most interesting was Rhys Milllen driving the Pontiac GTO, and was succesful in competing closelty with his JDM counterparts. A good show of vendors at the event too and I manged to snag some goodies before the 5 hour drive north back home.

Yes thats an SR20 and that was Topics IIs cas but it wasn't running at the competition. Here is a motor closeup.
