Default new toe settings = better MPG

Just got my new free front tires on 2/27 and in the 375 miles I have driven since then my gas mileage has increased 2 mpg doing the same driving I normal do. The dealer did change my Toe settings to the latest settings per Nissan, I assume to settings closer to "0" would have less rolling resistance and could affect my mpg?

Anyone else experience the same thing

well 375 isn't much more than one tank. It'd be hard to base your results on that.

In the last 9000 miles I have never averaged 22 mpg for a tank of fuel back and forth to work. I filled the tank after pulling out of the dealer and then drove my normal route to work for the entire tank. So, while it is early - driving the same route, the same way for the last 6 months my mpg was 20mpg now with the new TOE settings I got 22 mpg. I would say this is more then a fluke.

I called Nissan North America and told them that the alignment had been done once, back in November, and that the feathering problem has gotten worse since then.

NNA called the local dealer and gave them new alignment settings and auth for new front tires.
