For those who never look in the regional forums, there are some huge events taking place in the Philly/S. Jersey area April 23-25. Looks to be possibly the biggest gathering of 350Zs yet. You can check out the relevant threads here: https://my350z.com/forum/north-east-32/

Here is the breakdown according to member CyberCath:
The East Coast Z Association will hold its 5th Annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 24, 2004 (rain date May 1, 2004) at East Goshen Township Park on Paoli Pike in West Chester, PA. The meet will start at 11:00 a.m. and run throughout the afternoon. We had over 60 Z’s at our Fall Meet and we’re hoping to surpass that number this time! Based on the fantastic turnout we had in the Fall, we are going to try and make this more of a weekend event for the out of state travelers. Here are some of the events planned:

* Friday Night-April 23, 2004 - Detail Party at the Holiday Inn followed by Happy Hour at Bennigans in West Chester, PA

* Saturday-April 24, 2004 - ECZA Spring Meet at East Goshen Township Park starting at 11AM

* Sunday-Track Day (G35/350Z meet) at Atco Raceway, Atco, NJ

It's possible, I would HIGHLY consider if I have my Z by then, which is likely ! I guess put me down as a maybe....anybody know in general how far that is from Baltimore?

Last year the ECZA meet had 60 total Z's show up. Out of this total, I believe at least 25 were 350Z's. My guess is that they will top 100 this year and at least half will be 350Z's.

I hope so, but I'm not so sure. This is the same problem I ran into when I had my CT meet last year. At the last minute, I had to change location because my first choice could not hold the number of cars attending. I hope they've reserved the whole parking lot for the day or else there may be a problem. Remember that there are even people from Canada coming down for this and many are staying overnight to enjoy the whole weekend.

Are you going to be attending both meets?

I just called my wife and shes off that weekend so we'll be both there as long as the weather permits. I'd like to come down Friday night to hang out with all of you, sounds like it'll be a GREAT time.

I don't know if they'd allow it but someone should check out Valley Forge park near King of Prussia. I used to live near there and the park is gigantic with thousands of parking places. Its about 20-30 minutes closer to New Jersey.

Valley Forge park is beautiful. I drive through there all the time. As a national park it might be impossible to "reserve" anything, though. There are some perfect large lots there too...

I just called Valley Forge park and they don't "reserve" areas but I was told that you can apply for a special permit for 50$ that would give you "special rights for groups over 100"?????? to an area. I asked the person what the difference was and she didn't know but she refered me to a Dave Morsack 610 783-1055 with any further questions. I called and got voicemail. I left a message so I'll let you know what he said after he calls back.

Also at that time of year if someone was there earlier and set up the sign in a grove I think people would get the idea.

The only thing I'm worried about is if there is a turnout as expected that there won't be room at East Goshen Park. If this is a 100% set thing at Goshen park let me know, I'm only looking for options to accommodate a larger group.

We will be holding the event in a different section of the park that will allow us to hold more cars. Our fall turnout with over 60 cars was fantastic, and we're expecting far more this year!

Reminder...if you need to make a reservation at the Holiday Inn, you need to do so prior to 3/23 in order to obtain the ECZA rate.

Yes, it's a 100% set thing. Pat (ECZA's President) and myself made these arrangements a few months ago.

The ECZA group rate is $79 per night.
