Z stories!
I'm sure that all the owners have had experiences similar to this one. I'm driving on the Manhattan Bridge, towards Brooklyn (damn wrong turn, I really should have gone for Navi) and an older BMW 328 zooms by. Just when it gets next to me, it slams on the brakes...two guys look over and yell "Hey, what car is that?" I answer, give it a little gas to rev it for them, and they smile. On the same trip, I pull into some toll plaza on the NJ Turnpike, and the collector starts yelling, "That **** is HOT! Hit it! Hit it!" So, of course, I oblige and gun it coming out of the plaza. Needless to say, the rev light (set at 4000) blinked angrily at me. Oops. Coming out of toll plazas reminds me of that scene from Mad Max where all those cars in driving like crazy in the desert.
The point of this post and thread, any interesting experiences you've had in your Z? Any model, any year. Did you meet your wife while driving a Z? Get a wave from some random person? Make someone smile? Were you conceived in a Z? Cause an accident from all the rubberneckers? Post it here to share.

I guess what I really want to start is a kind of Z trip/story gallery. Here's some semi-random pics from a trip to NYC.
Here's me driving. I'm not smiling because the camera was being recalcitrant. Nothing to do the the Z.
Pic taken from the Navi-storage. I'm getting used to having a space there, I use it to hold the cam, my toll money, my phone...

Please tell me why you didin't race that ferrari, I'd love to have that chance.
I lost count of the compliments and smiles and waves haha.
So far no races a porsche boxster totally wussed out though. I was driving down the street and he had his turn signal on to come my way, so I slowed down to wait for it so I oculd race it and he then turned it off the wuss.
I also saw two 911's (non turbos) one in the other and one that wouldn't play around.

Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, I made a trip to Liberty State Park. I think that's considered in Jersey City.
In regards to the Ferrari, no I didn't try to race it. Give respect where it's due.
I also saw a nice blue Ferrari 550 Maranello while in Jersey. Too bad I was in my aunt's Justy at the time.
Nice guy, I asked him at a stoplight if it was one of the 575's, he sadly replied that it wasn't.
Lots Hummer H2's floating around too. Very visually arresting car. Doesn't look like anything else on the road.
