You kinda stumpt me with that one steve. It makes sense, but I think its got somthing to do with tire performance when going with low profile tires. I dunno, I cant put it into words. Whatever...headache. Still not getting 19s though.
Damn, 1900? What happen to the days when I could get a set for a grand? Seems like Im going to get stuck with the 17s for a while. Dream killers! Think Ill just save up for Nismo LMs? Crap.. I hate these 17s.
Come on kcobean, 1100 for just the wheels. Then you could sell the RE040s for 600+ (They go for 845). Sorry if im wasting bandwidth too, I really want those S-03s instead.

I did the math for you, kcobean, and your new 19's are gonna slow you down under acceleration, and make it harder for you to slow down as well. Switch to an alternate set of lightweight 18's, or better yet, get yourself some 17's. Many do fit over the stock Brembo's, including the Base and Enthusiast models stock 17's (but they're heavy). Look into SSR Competitions or some Volk wheels.

If your willing to go even more aggressive on tire sizing, you could run a 275/30/19 in the front and a 295/30/19 in the rear and the diameters would be .48" and .71" shorter than stock.

Ok, so for the 19" wheel owners out there, besides the Racing Hart CP-F Tune Wheels, what's out there that is relatively light weight? I don't know that the Hart wheels do it for me, I kinda like the more intricate spoke designs, but I don't want to go there if it dooms me to a heavy wheel.
I guess I'll ask around at the East Coast meet coming up in only......8 days!
