I am going to have to second that...A 1 megapixel camers looks fine at that size. the only reason for spending the money for a 3.1 or higher is to enjoy being able to have full screen pics that you can blow up to poster sizes and frame if you ever wanted to. (I am sure once he gets the hang of it though he will learn how to post bigger pics)

crbrickman,
From the latest pics, we can tell that you originally took the pictures at a lower resolution, and then enlarged them. You need to increase the resolution on the camera before you take the pictures. You can then reduce them some to make the picture a bit smaller, and also to reduce the file size.
I flip back and forth on my camera, between low resolution pictures and hi res pictures. I take Hi res if I really want/need a clean pic, but low res if it is just something to quickly upload to my computer and post or email.
When I first got my camera, everything was Hi res. But it would take so much work to reduce them to make them emailable (they were 1mb files), that I started switching.
Hope this helps.
