Sorry about the ticket bro. It's all about revenue for the police dept and city. Does anyone honestly think they are saving lives with speed traps etc? If they really wanted to cut down on speeding, they wouldnt be hiding behind a tree trying to "catch" people. They would be making their presence more known to deter it.

I've driven 9 years without a speeding ticket. Mind you I've driven 12 second cars daily. I get the Z and bang I start getting pulled over. Mostly by troopers. One of them told me he clocked me going 60mph in a 40mph. I knew he was lying because first I was going 51mph, second... my detector never went off. After I told him this, he magically said he'd drop it down to 49 in a 40.

State police are highway hogs anyway.

check local laws.

there used to be a site for GA law, and they had one that was all about speed trap laws. I know one was, no tickets for less than 10mph over the limit. others were no tickets within 500feet of a speed limit sign, 1000feet if the speed limit was changed at that sign.

they updated the site to a whole new format thats sposed to be easier, but I find it impossible to find anything on it.

but not that it matters, your not in GA. but Id check out local laws for something like that.
