26.9, 27.6 and then 27.7 doing 80% freeway and very seldom jumping hard on the throttle, waiting for break-in to be over.

I was blown away by the fact that the M3 has a gas guzziler tax of $1000. I'm not saying the M3 is not a smart car, but $1000 will buy you a years worth of gas in the Z.

TTT!

I've gotten 22.2 MPG in the last ~600 miles, with a lot of higher speed (80-85 MPH) highway driving and some city driving-

I'm really frustrated....15.5 mpg (city driving mostly) & driving granny to normal style. I have no idea what's wrong with my car; I've consistently taken care of all the maintenance. Maybe my '03 is getting too old, It's hitting 84k on the odometer.

Since my twin turbo install. I have been averaging between 29mpg to 31mpg depending on how much I stay off of boost! Note I dont take the car onto the interstate because I dont want rock chips in my V.2 front fasia! So this is all back roads and secondary roads!

Default my first tank of gas

After picking up my Z late last night, I had a chance today to put a few miles on it, nearly all freeway stuff....Freeway avg = 27 mpg

While I didn't buy my Z for fuel economy, I was very pleasantly surprised at this number...

cheers,
Steve in So Cal
