Post your fuel economy
I was gettin about 32 MGP when I drove from NC to Texas. I went about 80 MPH all the way. It was nice. When it said I had over 500 miles until i was empty, i was stoked. lol Taking out my cats helped my gas mileage tons...
On my high boost map pump gas, I average 21 mpg mixed driving. That is my 600whp map.
Got to love a good tune. That is staying in it several times. If I stay in it, I get 17 mpg

damn you guys must drive like a bat out of hell to get 15mpg. I get 21 in the city even if its some stop and go. Highway im around 28 my average right now little more highway is 25.3
Nissan claimed 20 / 26. Ha, right...
My first tank I got only 18mpg... yes, I do a lot of city driving, but it's the same commute as I've always had in my Honda Accord (which got 27mpg city). A few notes before I get criticisms... my Accord got much better city gas mileage than other Accords, and I drove the **** out of that motor. Now with the Z, keep in mind that I wasn't pushing the revs since it was during the break-in period, but 18mpg city is simply awful.

man i hear ya...im on a college campus with lots of people and bikes crossing all the time, so basically all stop and go traffic and im getting 13.9-14.5MPG. I really do wonder if its the stop and go or if its the '03 getting old.
I get 28-30mpg on the freeway regularly. I drive about 70-75 and I try to stay close to people without riding there *** so I can benefit that way. Not sure how much it helps but it's gotta be doing something if I get 29 average on the freeway.
I get around 16 driving through Boston traffic every day, '
24 or so straight highway driving
But like some of you said if you drive your car "right" (boring at 60-65) I have gotten 30 mpg,
...but seriously..... whats the point. Driving "right" Im just as likely to...
- fall asleep at the wheel,
- crash into fuel truck,
- cause a massive explosion,
- causing a traffic jamb,
- which makes people mad,
- giving them road rage,
- leads to guy getting beat with a tire iron,
- another ambulence,
- more traffic,
- more people mad,
- another tire iron incident.... and so on.'
Moral of the story, stop worrying about saving .05 cents a gallon... 350z's run on fried rice anyways
