Default Insurance Costs...

Hey guys..first time poster here...I am about to get a new Z....Been driving a F-150 extended cab truck..its a 99....How much do you think the insurance raise will be driving a Z? And about how much total will it be a month...I have asked around but have not called my insurance company yet? Can anyone shed some light on this...and I am sorry if this has been asked before..or I posted in wrong topic folder...Thanks for the help.
Jonathon..

We need more information than that.

Your insurance rates will depend on your age, gender, marital status, previous history of traffic violations/speeding, where you live, whether you'll have other cars to insure, how many miles you drive per year, whether or not you use the car to drive to work, the distance from your home to your workplace, how much coverage you want, etc., etc.

That being said - why not just call some insurance companies and ask? It doesn't cost you anything for a quick quote.

call your insurance company, they have the answers fir you. if you still want my guess, i'll say 237.43 a month for 5 months and you get the 6th month free.

Co-signing with your parents will definitely help, but 7 tickets...ouch! That's gonna cost you.

I'll venture a guess as to what the insurance quote will be...$1200+ for 6 months of basic coverage.

Sub 25 and 7 tickets? Stay with the truck man. You'll probably be working for the Z instead of living for the Z.

I thought so?

i have a Z and am somewhat in the similar situation as yourself. I am 27, single, male, and have had one "major" run-in with johnny-law. about 2 years ago i was driving when i shouldnt have been after a party. you can figure out the rest. even though thats not as many tickets, its more recent and a more seriuos offense. I was paying right a 1000 dollars for 6 months full coverage with no deductibles on comprehnsive and minimal deduct on collision. I shopped around and found the same package for under 700 at progressive. much cheaper. i have heard that progressive might not offer the same amount of customer service but for a savings of 300+ a year its a no brainer. plus in another 2 years I will have that off the record and will switch back. you can always check the internet for a fast free quote.
