Angry Driver's Side window not working

This morning I stopped off at an ATM and the driver's window rolled down fine. When I attempted to roll it up it took a couple attempts to do so.

About 30-minutes later when I pulled up to the security gate where I work, it wouldn't roll down. The passenger side worked fine.

The driver's window is in the up position and the door closes fine, but the slight movement to "seal" the window isn't working either.

Anyone else having a problem like this? I know Nissan has had a recall on the Xterra for window regulators recently.

Yea to back up mc350z happened to me to with a few other symptons, first time dealer tried to blame my tint (complete BS) even caught him in a lie, next time it happened talked to a cooler service advisor he just said plain and simple your motor is bad under warranty swapped out. Dont let them try and blame tint, aftermarket speakers, overuse of your windows LOL just thought i'd throw that in there. the window motor are one of the many lil bugs the Z has its under warranty

it is a common problem with the 2003s.

i wonder how hard it is to design a window that opens and closes properly?

This is funny. I have been bamboozeled by the dealer again.
My driver windows does not drop when opening the door. Well, it moves a tiny bit, but not like it used to. Seemed to happen after I had the tint done. I brought it in, not telling the dealer about the tint, and they blamed it on the tint. I have been living with it.
Now I'm going to have the motor replaced. Thanks!

I knew this forum was good for something other than complaining.

Exact same thing happened to mine. They replaced it and its worked fine for the 2 months or so that i've had the new motor, although I'm starting to hear some funny noises coming from the window motor and I feel like its going to happen again.

Also, does anyone elses window creak while they drive?
