I'm from Killeen, and lucky for me Bates Nissan has been AWESOME, but if I lived up in Dallas, I'd definitely go with Courtesy Nissan. I continually read about them being the best of the best. I'm sure a lot of Dallas people would back me up on that.

Wow. I had heard that Courtesy was one of the best. Has anyone else had problems with them?

Tony at Sterling McCall has been great so far - ask for him when you go and tell him that I sent you!

It's very important as to who you choose to do business with but, i'm sure you can find a local dealer in Houston that won't try to screw you. If you've heard good things about Sterling McCall I say get down there and place your order. I can't imagine that the dealerships here in Dallas are that much better. Good luck, the wait is painful.

Talk to Shannon at Mossy Nissan. I-10 and Dairy Ashford. Very reliable guy and no BS. Treat you more like a friend than a salesman.

Default Baker-Jackson SW (Houston)

Just picked up my Z today!!!! And from Baker-Jackson near the Astrodome. I have to say that I had a good experience throughout the whole process. Pre-ordered back in March, my salesman (Shawn Inabinett) kept me up to date on the status of my order, and even had his inventory manager and sales manager contact me at different times. I only had 12 miles on the car when my salesman in the lot and he gave me a very thorough walk through before the test drive. So far, I'm REAL pleased with my new Z. The only drawback so far was that it rained on the way home (Isadora coming?) so I'll be washing my Z tomorrow already.

Good news for those thinking of ordering. Baker-Jackson is still doing an MSRP order - I confirmed this with the sales manager and my salesman. I have a friend who is on the fence about buying a Z. Again, if you order - you'll pay MSRP but none of that above invoice stuff. They did admit that any extra Z's that they had (cancelled orders) they were selling over invoice. In fact, they had an offer for $5,000 over for mine from someone driving by as my car was being unloaded off the truck.

My opinion for those in Houston area - check out Baker-Jackson by the Astrodome on Loop 610.

I'm in Ft. Worth, but took over a cancelled pre-order earlier this year at Tom Peacock Nissan in north Houston. The salesman has been very informative and upfront. Although I haven't physically seen the dealership yet, I would give them a thumbs up so far..
