Thanks for the vid.. It's my first time seeing it.

What I don't get is that they use as justification for the RX-8 being a better value in that they said the Z needs to be the Toruing model to get the 18" wheels and "performance" tires. The Performance model (for less $$) comes with the 18" wheels, and the 17 'stires are the same model as the 18's, so I don't get the whole "performance" tire statement.

Unhappy 350Z vs. RX8

Who cares what they say about the RX8.

With it's ultra high ground clearance, I still think they should test it in the SUV catagory...........

i think its funny when they say their testing a touring model, yet its a track model. Shoot, if i could get a track for 33 and change, i would have.

thanks though for the great anticipated video. I love the style of the rx-8, but i has no *****. It has a rotary *****,

Thanks, I've been waiting for someone to post this Motorweek comparison up.

I still don't contend that the two are rivals, as one is a beast while the other is pretty much designed for practicality. That track must've been pretty darned cold... pulling in 14.8 in the 1/4 mile...

One thing that i don't understand the car reviewers. Why that have put a lot of grudge against the Z? They always go for RX8 just because it has handling?

Also in the last straight run. i saw the Z was leading and the finish like show RX8 passed it. Something is wrong i think. I know the Z can take on the last straight line easily and i'm sure of it.

hey thanks for posting the video. Can just one freakin review get the details about the Z correct? Irresponsible Journalism if you ask me.

I love my Z so I really could care less about the conclusion they came to, just wish that they could get the facts right.

The RX-8 would be a lot more appealing if it dropped the two back seats and added some power. The suicide doors make it look kinda funky.

seems like a good non-biased review, much much better than that horrible top gear review (not the one with tiff, the other one with clarkson). either way, both cars are and have been rivals forever.. i thought it was a fair review.

I still think best motoring is the BEST at reviewing cars, they are hardcore and not was plain jane as these suckers.

good review!! i m glad the RX-8 beat the Z in the review. in other words, less Z on the road, more RX-8 to burn!!!

review: RX-8 > Z
REALITY: Z > RX-8

PS: how come motorweek likes to screw up so many times?? 18s are also available in Performance....

thanks for the post.

motorweek sure does love that shot of the track rims with the brembo brakes. they had that shot when they reviewed the roadster too.

doesnt matter if the mazda beat the nissan on the track, i still wouldnt want one.
