Happened to me a few times...I know why, those guys dont drive G35Cs, they drive Skylines! <-- I love that face.

In Hawaii, the Z/G35 crowd gets along.

A guy I talked to owns an oil/lube place. A while back he bought a G35C. He now wishes he bought the 350Z. He says his car is beautiful and all, but it is not a "looker". "No one turns there heads like they do to a 350z."

He is like, it is like every other car on the street and most people cant tell the difference between the sedan and coupe.

I blip my throttle all the time to get a Z's attention on the highway. But not at lights. Usually if a Z is just cruising, I'll pull up along side blip the throttle and give a nod and then be on my way.

I've had Z's do the same to me. In NJ, we are friendlier than other states. Boy, if that isn't an oxymoron.

I just traded in my Z for a G35s. I get along with myself pretty well.

I think the G35 is a great car, but I just couldn't stand the dealership sales guys...Talk about a bunch of asses...Very baised opinion. Simply because I went in with my jogging pants and a T-Shirt. I did this intentionally to see how they would react. Snobby F!@#$rs. So the wife said to go the Nissan and take a look at the Z, I miss my Lexus IS300, but the Z is pure beauty and speed.

I find it the most comical when I have a little honda civic, with a modded muffler want to race me. It's me against the fart rocket and after I cleaned his clock he looked over with shock, as if he expected a different type of outcome. SCHMUCK!!!

I generally have a positive attitude toward most cars. I don't really race in the city, so I just let the camaros rev their engines and give me dirty looks Mustangs owners seem to be more welcoming/positive here where I live. Any nice car I see I usually give a thumbs up. Especially a G35c. There's one guy here in my town that has the same color Z I have. It's fun to see him around because we usually goof around changing lanes/revving and stuff. It must be kinda cool for other people to see

First...... WTF! Are you serious? I thought you were "Just begining to MOD your Z? Not that it's a bad thing you traded or anything. Just surprising...

Second..... I get this shiz ALL the time if it's a guy driving a Coupe. And I mean like 80% of the time.

I gotta tell you guys about this one incident where I was on McDermott (W. bound) at Ohio. As we wound thru the corner, me ahead, I slowed down prior to Preston (because there is a helluva dip as you cross, he obviously didn't know this) and he whips in front of me, to pass me and hits the shiz out of the dip! Sparks and debree flys up and he bounces damn near into another lane. And get this... New paper tags!

How many G35's are in your town? So your basing your feelings about every G35 owner on the ones in your town? We ALL don't act like this.

Marcus,

Yeah, I figured I just can't keep up with all you guys going TT...might as well slow down and enjoy the scenery in the sedan. (I was gonna post and ask you guys but I knew you'd talk me out of it, and probably talk me into a TT)

Maybe I'll have to get the trunk rattlin like two midgets in the back seat wrastlin...Or something ridiculous like that.

Hopefully I'm still invited to all the shindigs and fiestas.

BTW - I've still got the HEY YA plates and I'll still be on the forums.

Well...I was driving down the street and noticed a Z up in front of me. I pulled up side of him . Honked....he didnt look...honk...he didnt look. We came to a red light . I honked and rolled down my window...stuck my hand out with a thumbs up....he didnt look over . We came to the next light where I had to turn..He was in the left lane and I was turning right .I tried one more time....NO response....So when I took my right turn I got on it and thru gravel at him....and I was hoping some of it pelted his Z . Im in my 40s and this guy looked maybe late 20s early 30s.....It was like he thought his chit didnt stink . So dont go bashing G owners. There are Z guys that have that bad A$$ mentality too

I seem to remember reading on these boards about newbie MT drivers that concentrate on the road and their driving meticulously, so they aren't aware of much else... in particular, Z camaraderie.

Just curious why it matters that it has no plates. My Z still has no plates but I have more then doubled the break in period on my car.

you just can't generalize people, period, nuff said.

Just be happy most everyone (even the trolls) gets along on this board and is amiable towards each other.

I currently don't own either the G or the Z, but am looking forward to purchase one of them soon. To me both car turn heads, but one is simply more sporty and the other is more elegant/classy. Both are beautiful cars, and they're almost of equal speed.
There are always ppl out there who got something to prove no matter what car you drive, it's the same with every forum.

I've never come across a G35C owner that was angry towards me and the Z. In fact, this past Sunday I was getting on the Turnpike and I saw a nice white G35C in the opposite direction and we both waved at each other. But there have been times where I've wanted to give a thumbs up to a G, but the driver usually ignores me or doesn't see me...

I was merging on to parkway and this G35C waits for me and right when I got next to him floors it. I was like WTF? I was giving the nod to his friend and the driver thinks it's a nice time to race. This other time there was a G35 sedan that toyed around with me, weaving back and forth through traffic but I never bit. Once he figured I wasn't going for it he gave me the thumbs up. Oh well, it happens to all cars I guess. I'm not hating on G owners. In fact most are very nice. I just consider those I came across with as bad apples.
