Oh well, it happens to all cars I guess. I'm not hating on G owners. In fact most are very nice. I just consider those I came across with as bad apples.

Well truthfully, they are overall a better car with the same performance. But I still like the Z's too!

I absolutely love the Z, but even though I sense a little syrcasm in your remark, that is exactly why I bought my g35. Longer wheelbase for a less choppy ride and in my opinion more gracefull lines. And when I do see another g coupe, sedan, or Z, I do mess with them some. Nothing real crazy, and I hope not disrespectfully, just trying to have some fun with such great cars. I wanted the back seat for extra storage and the occasional extra passenger. I also had to have the gold brembos So by waiting 3 months for a g 6mt with no sunroof and bose, I got the big wheels, leather, brembos, lsd, vcd and pilot sports for 33500... which is less than sticker for a track model z.

Your story reminds of 2 weeks ago I was at the track. I had pulled up in the staging lanes, and this douche bag in a G35 Coupe with Brembos rolls by me giving me the "I'm better than you look". So I went over to him and asked him what he ran. Excuses, excuses, he ran 15.0 @ 95 and it was a 6 speed!! He kept saying "its stock" What a non-driver. So I then proceeded to make him feel worthless. I then told him, well I ran 13.7 @ 101 STOCK, and hes like but you have more hp, lol yeah buddy less than 10 more. A good driver in a G 35 could probobly hit high 13's, or very low 14's. Then he mentions how he cant hook up, and I'm like "you have Michelin Pilot Sports, why are you only cutting 2.4 60ft's, I cut 2.0's on RE040's which suck" He just looked at me, lol. Anyways I always do seem to see G owners that act superior to us Z owners....

I see more Z owners being SNOTTY than G owners . G owners seem more grown up. More kids drive the Z than the G anyways, so that might answer it.

Zeroday, the G35 has more goodies than the Z does. It is overall a better car. You can't deny that. With the same performance of the Z.

Where do you "see" these Z owners? How do these G owners "seem"? Where do you come up with these generalizations? And then YOU go on to say the G is better than the Z? Hmm...

They are both cars, but designed for different needs/people. BTW - Performance is similar, NOT the same.

As a sidenote, a Z tried to race me yesterday on the highway? Doesn't he know I've retired to cruise mode? Eh?

Anyways, back to my original point. My sedan is far superior to any of your cars. Why you ask? Because I bought it, and it's mine. If I had any doubt that my car wasn't the best car ever made, then I wouldn't have bought it. Actually, I would probably post about it to try to make myself feel better about myself.

wait...that's G35_TX

Maybe this thread should be closed before I start beating myself up over it. I love all Nissans/Infinitis!

I don't know if this "story" is refering to me, but I don't think I'm better than Z drivers. I just said that I wanted the brembo brakes and a backseat. I have nothing but love for the Z's And I can do the math, I'm a math teacher. More weight + a touch less hp = slower... all things equal. Though I would race you on the track for the fun, I would expect to lose. Maybe I'd get lucky though and you'd miss a shift or spin the tires a bit too much

I bet you have never even driven a Z before idiot. The handling isn't even close and it doesn't pull nearly as hard.

lol, believe whatever you want man. Your Z is on the same platform as the G. Same engine, same dynos, same handling. The G might be softer sprung, but it still handles the same.

I have owned at least 10 Nissans since 1996. I am a fanatic with Nissans. I also have been friends with the Capital Z of Texas President the previous one and current one since 1996 as well. I know the cars. I know what they can and can not do. Like I said, the G is OVERALL a better car for the buck. You get more for your money, better warranty, better service, better interior and goodies like sunroof, power seats, seat memory, etc.

Oh now the name calling. Please grow up. You have no clue what it takes to make a car handle well. Body roll is not what it takes. Look at the performance specs. They are almost EQUAL. Your Z isn't god.

Exhibit A folks...this is the kind of G owner this thread referred to. Rediculous.

no point in even arguing with people like this.
