Default Do people touch your car?

So I had just cleaned my SB Z. Sooo nice shiny. ( thiswas a week ago. )

Anyways, I was over in pacifica and my firends and I decide to go to the beach. I park in a nice safe end spot with my friends car on the other side. So my friends and I are walking towards the beach and when I get about 70 feet away these tow guys get out of their RV and walk up to my car.

SO I stop and observe. They stand there on the driver side just looking for a few minutes, then proceed to circle the car. When they get around to the front, one guy bends over ( maybe looking at his reflection in the hood?? ) Then TOUCHES the fender! WHY must he TOUCH it! So I poped the hatch open and ran over acting like I was looking for a jacket *shrugs*

They then ask the usuall questions, how much is it? how muchpower? Is it fast? Kinda looks like a porsche, blah blah. They then walk away and I make sure they don't come close again b4 I go down to the beach.

Anyways, that is not the first time people have touched the car. I see marks on the window all the time fromt peopel cupping their hands to look inside and such.

Grr, I need a proxemity (sp?) alarm!

I just got my car, and I am a freak about people touching my car. My husband is riding in the passenger seat, rolls down his window and starts druming his fingers on the hood!!!! Then he takes his icetea (the cup is sweating) and puts it on the seat!!!! WHY!!!!!! I parked it in the driveway, so that I could prepare her new home I open the door half the men from my block are all over her. Look, admire, drool but do not touch it!!! I think the Z should have came with one of those talking alarms that say "Get off the car a$$hole".

I know how you guys feel I have a Track model PikesPeaks White, and If I go shopping I park away from everone else. Is that wise, am I really protecting the car or am I bring unwanted attention to the car?

I think I would make my parents clean up their mess as well.. That is, if I could trust them to do it up to my expectations, which I couldnt..

( My dad is no longer allowed in my Z for certain reasons )

Yup, every so often. The most notable one was a hooker trying to solicit me... She was leaning on the driver's side mirror so it moved downward and then later kneeled down and kept banging her knees on my driver's side door (trying to balance her crack a$$ self)... sounded like something like keys were also hitting the side also. I opened the window a crack 'cause she wanted to 'conversate' and I wanted to appease her enough so that she wouldn't get pissed and kick the car or something.

The catcher for all you guys... this happened at work at 7:15 in the morning. Kinda tells you what kind of neighborhood that I work in.

I've never seen anyone touch my car, but I've seen fingerprints on the window. Although I do know some a$$hole "touched" my car with his key over the entire door and fender...no one should hope to be caught touching my car or else it's game over!

HAHA, nope, that's not it. I'd rather have my car smell for a while then have him do what he does.

Actually... When he opens the door from the inside, he tend to let it snap back and he wont listen to me when I tell him not to. Also, when he closes the door, he puts his hand right onto the damn paint to close it. Once he remembered not to put it on the paint though.. But he put it on the window!

Call me ****, but shesh..

What about when people let the seat belt go as soon as they unbuckle? It goes flying and hits the door and/or window sounding like it broke everything.
