Car Stats Comparison
Found this site while surfing around. It looks like it might be useful for all those "which car is better" arguments that always pop up. It lets you compare 1/4 times, rolling start times, lap times for various tracks, and most importantly of course...annual greenhouse gas emissions

It's useless info just like magazine stats (which I think these numbers are based on). Unless all those cars were run on the same day, temperature, elevation, fuel quality, and on the same tires w/ the same driver, they just don't mean anything.
14.17 s @ 101.37 mph listed as a quarter mile? We've had stock ones driven by members on this forum go as low as 13.7 bone stock.
Not a flame, just explaining the reasoning behind why so many experienced enthusiasts laugh at the guy who throws around magazine numbers when comparing the performance of a car.

I totally agree that mag racing is one of the baser forms of car enthusiasm, mainly reserved for the posers among us. However, it inevitably happens in a forum atmosphere like this, so I figured the link might be useful to some.
Of course, the stats on that site shouldn't be taken as the bible of performance numbers for all the cars it lists. At the same time, I wouldn't exactly call it "useless". Sure some 350Zs run high 13's, but it seems like most novice-intermediate drivers are closer to 14.0-14.1 (I could be wrong, I'm not a big drag racer).
Anyway, I found it more interesting that they had actual lap times for a bunch of different circuits. I haven't seen anything like that online or in magazines so I thought it was pretty cool. Besides we all know road racing is better than drag racing haha j/k.

i love how in the back of road and track it says 350Z track 14.8 1/4 and 6.2 0-60. Who the hell was driving this caR?? Of course the rx-8 has almost the same exact numbers. Sounds like a bit of Tom Foolery to me.
