Thank you everyone for all the support you have given me. I truly appreciate it. Several my350z.com owners have helped out tremendously (you know who you are) . Some of them have actually experienced the bad customer service first hand from Hertrich, which is why they called NNA.

I have posted this on several other forums including Nissan sentra forums, maxima forums, 240sx forums and general nisssan forums. Not to mention the plethora of other 350z sites out there.

mgk65, thank you for the heads up on Edmunds. Forgot about that.

This may be a bit of work, but why don't you post the links to the other sites here?

We can then go over there and support you.

WOW!

First off, I cant believe these idiots would try to cover a missing tow hook cover by drilling more holes in the bumper to install a liscence plate bracket... How friken dumb.

Secondly, I cant believe for a cheap *** part (probably $15 or so) they wouldnt just take the hit and buy the damned thing.

This is some very bad publicity if I've ever seen it.

The reply made by Hertrich just adds to their unprofessionalism they seem to exhibit.
Businesses should really stay neutral in these kinds of posts and resolve their customer complaints offline.

I don't know of the Hertrich dealership, but they definitely violated the #1 rule of business - "The customer is always right."

I've heard nothing but good things about Sheridan Nissan though. Long drive, but now it looks like it may be worth it

Unbelievable. Someone from Hertrich (most likely the General manager, wouldnt give his name but sounded like him) called my house this past weekend bitching to my father.. He claimed I was a passenger in a blue 350z that "did a burnout on their property." He threatened to call the cops if anything similar ever happened again.

What's pretty funny is that I was over thunderz's house when this apparent "burnout" took place.

I mean come on Hertrich, like there are no other daytona blue Z's in Delaware. Furthermore, my Z is chrome silver. Hello!

Give me a break and stop harassing my house. Next time I will report you to Nissan North America for harrassment. I guess the general manager must of seen an asian guy in the passenger seat and figured it was me. Says a lot about their reputation. Furthermore, EVEN IF I WAS IN THE CAR, why did you call my house? I wasnt the one driving.

I guess your "great" customer service is why you've had the SAME 8 350zs sitting on your lot the past 2 months

Get a clue and stop harassing my family.

Hertich does suck. They sucked when I was 18 year old in high school student trying buy a used car. They still suck 12 years later now that I am professional making a good living. Go north to Sheridan. They fix things the first time and don't make a fuss. By the way, my mom decided not to buy her Maxima from there because of this great post. Too bad they don't still have a chance to make things right. Hertrich...you suck. Enough said!

I agree Scott. Sheridan in New Castle is the way to go. That's where I take my Z for service. Hell even Porter Nissan in Newark,DE is awesome. On my way back from the ECZA Z meet, I stopped in at Porter's service dept (had a question about a noise my car was making). One of the service techs was already closing up, but took the time to come out and check out my car. (after hours mind you) He then shot the breeze with me about Z's for a good half an hour. That's what I call service.

Try getting that kind of service at Hertrich. heh. Glad your mom bought her Maxima else where. Those new Maxima's are sweet too

I almost forgot to mention.

Last time my car was in for service for a rattling noise coming from the REAR of the car, they did something to anger me. I had the hood popped. Well the service manager (think his name is Noel Fields something) saw my JWT popcharger (my only mod). He said "thats probably the problem right there. That damn thing voids your warranty." He then grabbed my popcharger and violently wiggled it left to right. I was PISSED.

So I called up the GOOD dealership I use now (sheridan Nissan) and asked them if it voids my warranty. They laughed and said "of course not."

He also agreed to replace a wheel THEY damaged by doing the tire feathering TSB. After I showed him the damage they did, I had some brake dust on my hand. After basically YELLING at him for half an hour, he finally agreed to replace my wheel (he wanted to "repair" it. Umm yea right). I went to shake his hand and he said "i'm not shaking your hand, you have abspestos all over it." Can you be any dumber? Abspestos hasnt come on brake pads for years.

I urge everyone to keep your cars away from Hertrich Nissan and their service department. On another note, everytime Hetrich's service department called my house, the service manager displayed his unprofessionalism. Instead of asking "May I speak to Ryan......" He said "ryan there?" very rudely.

Learn some manners and customer service.
