No offense NeoTetsu, but it would really bug me if I saw your plate TETZUO, as I would dwell on it for the next day or two trying to figure out the "clever" meaning behind it. Nicknames are usually pretty easy to figure out, as are married couples initials (2 sets of three letters ending in the same letter), but that Z in the middle would have bugged me for a while. Fortunately most people seem to stick to the rule that you shouldn't really need to know anything about the person inside the car to "get" the plate.
Yes, I have had a long commute (55 miles each way) in heavy traffic for over 10 years now...

I don't think any states will let you get 88B8B8 because they probably think you're doing it on purpose to make cops confused. I'd probably try putting a bunch of consonants together like GDHFPLW.

Im with anyone2u on everything. that what I was meaning, if someone tried to write down your plate theyd have a tough time.
I use to have problems with that, Id do nothing wrong(that I knew of) but people would write about me in subdivision newsletters and stuff threatening to ban me from the area(not sure how that even happens...) Id drove some friends home from school everyday and these people would just wait outside to watch me drive by.
now that I guess Im older, or just around less, no one complains. but I really did want to get it on my last car.

I See all your points about vanity plates...I just figured they are fun and something you dont see on many cars..I always like to figure them out. On my old Grand Prix GTP I had 1BADGP only cuz I had a lot of appearance mods on it and no other GP in town looked the same as mine...nothign to do with being cocky or anything.
I already got www.3ifttyz.com so I figure I'll go with the same plate....nothing arrogant about that. In these days with people and their slang words.."fitty" fits right in. Only thing with that is people will think that an African AMerican or 50 Cent drives the car but they'll be surprises when they see a white boy come out..lol.

I'm probably going to get NIS350Z, the NIS can = Nismo or Nissan. Although I may consider something like 1II11I or 8B8B88B or something of that nature.

I disagree my self. I think Vanity plates are a fun, and easy way to express yourself. However, in IL everyone does that.
