This was exactly my concern. According to the tire sizes, I thought the spare was about 1" shorter than my rear wheels. Don't recall the spare size at this moment, but my rear tires are 275/40/18. I figured, with that much difference, it would cook the diff, and I just wasn't willing to do that.
Well, I just had a full stealth amp/sub install in the spare area, so too late now.
I'll just have to carry a couple of those cans of fix-a-flat stuff and hope they get me where I'm going.
