Default Tach Shift Light - pic?

Can someone do me the huge favor of showing me where that shift light is? I don't have the car yet, so I'm really curious about its location. Thanks a bunch.

BTW, you guys totally rule...

Well, sorta broken in. I'm at about 1100. I really only followed the 4k RPM thing for about the first 100 miles. Oh well.

Dan,

You've had your car like a week and a half longer than me and only 700 miles? We are going to have to go on a really long cruise.

That's awesome, Frank. Thanks, man. Is the light pretty noticeable at night? How about daytime?

It looks like I'm going to order my Z next week, so I'll be counting down the days. When I get my Z, definitely count me in for cruises and stuff.

All of you guys here seem like really great guys and its nice to see that on an internet car club forum, believe me...

i've been a little nervous driving it on 88 and up to work. The parking lots are MURDER there. Lets take a road trip to up to lake geneva sometime.

Oh? Are you afraid of time-travel too?

I always find myself drifting into the 5000 RPM area, but catch myself.

what i meant was Interstate 88. I was cruising at 110 mph with a brand new vette today. Car was stable as a rock.

Yeah, it's very noticeable. It flashes like crazy when it's time to shift.

Imagine if they had a "Bitchin' Betty" kind of voice, like in jets.

"Shift, shift, shift"

It start flashing rapidly 500 RPM before the programmed shift point, then lights steadily when the set RPM is reached (and beyond). It's quite handy, although not too noticeable in daylight. I have mine set to 6,400 RPM, and that light gets a lot of use!

I think the arrow will get in the way of normal driving.
