Now 1/4 mile times, there a Plenty of Z's that have ran 13.8 or better Stock and Several that are in the low 13's Modded and Even some in the 12's like the TT's.

Look at the bright side, atleast its not a 924

The funny thing is the guy that works on my car is a huge Porsche fanatic, specializes in Porsche service, owns a 996 and even he calls the 944 a "chick car".

I'm sure you can make one quick, but who'd want to be seen in a 944 when you can have something better looking (and faster) for the same money. In the words of Fat Bastard... "The 350Z is dead sexy.... the 944 is crap!"

944 Faster than the Z???? I used to have a 944 and it was much slower, however I did not have the 300$ ECU chip in it.

The 944 is slower than the Z.

Lets get somethings straight. This guy may be very annoying and a jerk, I can see why everyone wants to kick him out but you don't have to put down the 944. It was my first car and was a great car. It was a car that was way ahead of its time in the 80's. Infact one of the reasons they stopped producing the 944 Turbo in 1989 was because what was known as the Turbo S had a 0-60 time of 5.5 sec. and was actually seriously cutting down sales of the much more expensive 911 which was not much faster at the time. The 1986 944 was also the first car ever to be sold to the public with an Airbag. I don't think one person here will put down the Z31 of the 80's even though its not as good as the 350z because its a legacy, so there is also no reason to put down the 944. Go ahead and kick the guy out of the forum but don't put down cars that had great technology for their day and helped found the technology of sports cars today.
