Wow you guys get pretty mad... u threaten to throw some on out of your forum for having a different opinion and taste.!!!!!!!!WOW THATS TOO FUNNY......Iknow not every one of you guys in here think that way....i think people like that on your forum will give the rest of you guys a bad name.........you guys saying that my car is isnt fast....i never said it was...but its still faster then your z....number one I knowyou guys run barely a 14 flat with your Z's and I ran13.8 stock .....ohh yeah and a 13.2 with just my ECU chip ($300)and NOTHING else done and got mine up to 165mph......How much do you have to spend on a mod to drop almost 1/2 a second off your time??)
i'm not saying the z is crap I'm just asking some of you guys as owners, what you think...i love the z and i love people that love their cars ,but please i hate closed mind'd owners.....
.Half these story's are all made..."you have to take the motor out of a boxter to do a oil change" "a boxter oil change over $200"( Its $16.50 for the filter and bout 8 1/2 quarts of mobil one....)...what r u an idiot.???.its just as easy as a z myb easier....please dont comment on something u know NOTHING ABOUT... I wouldnt dare to comment on something tech on a z cause i never researched it...so i keep my mouth shut.....

i think for the most part people here know what they are talking about when it comes to their cars and the time they invest into getting to know them. And congratulations on your ECU chip and 1/4 time...you also spent 30k more to that extra 1/2 second

Now 1/4 mile times, there a Plenty of Z's that have ran 13.8 or better Stock and Several that are in the low 13's Modded and Even some in the 12's like the TT's.

Look at the bright side, atleast its not a 924

The funny thing is the guy that works on my car is a huge Porsche fanatic, specializes in Porsche service, owns a 996 and even he calls the 944 a "chick car".

I'm sure you can make one quick, but who'd want to be seen in a 944 when you can have something better looking (and faster) for the same money. In the words of Fat Bastard... "The 350Z is dead sexy.... the 944 is crap!"

944 Faster than the Z???? I used to have a 944 and it was much slower, however I did not have the 300$ ECU chip in it.

The 944 is slower than the Z.

Lets get somethings straight. This guy may be very annoying and a jerk, I can see why everyone wants to kick him out but you don't have to put down the 944. It was my first car and was a great car. It was a car that was way ahead of its time in the 80's. Infact one of the reasons they stopped producing the 944 Turbo in 1989 was because what was known as the Turbo S had a 0-60 time of 5.5 sec. and was actually seriously cutting down sales of the much more expensive 911 which was not much faster at the time. The 1986 944 was also the first car ever to be sold to the public with an Airbag. I don't think one person here will put down the Z31 of the 80's even though its not as good as the 350z because its a legacy, so there is also no reason to put down the 944. Go ahead and kick the guy out of the forum but don't put down cars that had great technology for their day and helped found the technology of sports cars today.
