Ok so my dad calls them up sense its about a 65 mile drive to get down there to setup a deal, for about $1000 over invoice, he tells them that he wont pay MSRP, and they said they can do it in that ballpark so around that amount, but cant finaliaze it over the phone, so we go down there, we get there and then they basically say there is no way they can do that deal, and the lowest they go is $29,700 which is about $700 more than about the max my dad was gonna pay, he was really pissed off for saying they would do it and then we get there and they did not, a total waste of gas and time

well it was a 6 spd manual transmission, enthusiast daytona blue, those 3 things cannot be different have to be, also all the features but the aero dynamic, the thing is though weve found someone who has the car, only about 3 or 4 in california none dont have the aero dynamic and everything else, we found one with the aerodynamic willing to deal in sacramento, 440 mile drive, ug were gonna go down there today, the things u do for a 350z.

I dont' know what you and your dad can live with as far as price and how much work/time you're willing to spend/driving, etc trying to save a few hundred dollars.

If you're somewhat flexible and ok with 1200 off MSRP, you might want to contact Jeff/Jason at Performance Nissan (my350z sponsor) and have them set you up with Ken in fleet for a real easy sale. Ken can probably get that car you guys went to see as a dealer trade too. I think on an enthus, difference between invoice and msrp is around 2500 so 1200 off would be roughly 1300 over invoice.

Default Glendale Infiniti/Nissan

Hey, I can totally vouch for Xevious because the way that Foothill Nissan tries to sell cars is just ludicrous. They would not let me get a test drive. They were completely stagnant about a test drive. How do you suppose to sell cars without knowing how the car even drives? After that, I went to Glendale Infiniti to check out the G35 Coupe. I told the salesperson that I was interested with the G35 Coupe and the Nissan 350z. He immediately gave me a test drive with both those cars.

Xevious, what you need to do to get a good deal is to get in contact with Jimmy Kim at Glendale Infiniti. He well hook you up with a great deal for a 350z.

I ended up with a G35 Coupe, though. Good luck with your purchase.

to make a 14 hour story short we drove up to sacromento, got the deal we were looking for we had to get aero dynamic package but atleast it does something and isnt "just" for looks and got a good 450 miles on it driving home lots of break in miles, it was really annoying downshifting and slowing down./speeding up to keep the engine at different RPM's for the break in, my dad's foot about died and mine is hurting pretty bad, im super tired now, so i think i will go sleep now, maybe ill post some pics of the nice daytona blue 350z =) looks soo beautiful, daytona blue, the greatest color =) =) =)

Congrats man!

But I second that on Foothill Nissan. They suck bad. They woudn't negotiate a deal with me and I also drove down there to see what they had. They were trying to sell me a roadster that I didn't want...I also had a little more than 20% down and they still wouldn't budge. They suck ballz.

Thats typical of dealers to get you down to the lot.
Most will say anything to get you in there.
getting you in there is half the sale.

Originally I was looking for a 6MT Black Touring and the
dealership(Glendale) was like yeah we got one of those here.

No they didnt.

Congrats on your Z

I had the similar issue with Quality Nissan. I live in Garden Grove and before driving 60+ miles I called Quality Nissan. Quality Nissan is good. They got me out of a lease and purchased a 04 Z. Though there a few issues with the contract Mark the Sales Manager took over and helped me keep my z. Just one problem is the Finance department. They hassled me so much for something they messed up on and the Finance Manager Todd disrespected me and my wife. They messed up on the payoff of a leased 2002 Celica GTS by $6000. Finance Department of Quality Nissan though I lied to get the Z. First of all, I wouldnt lie about $6000 difference on a payoff and also having to drive 120+ miles round trip to get to Quality Nissan. They shouldve called in for the payoff like any other dealership I have been to. At the end I kept the Z and happy.
