Default Kinetix NEW Test Pipes Help????

Guys has anyone installed the new Kinetix Test Pipes WITH the sound resonators??? I am going to be running them with a Borla exhaust and I am wondering about the sound? I know the traditional test pipes are loud and s ***, but the resonators are supposed to let the air flow free but STOP all the raspiness and loud sound associated with the regular test pipes. I would like to use these instead of HF Cats if the sound isn't crazy.

Any thoughts....Better yet....anyone have any sound clips???

I would call and ask Kinetix myself but getting them on the phone is next to impossible and I also want someone who has installed these babies?

Thanks gang!

The write up claim and pics....

Stainless Steel Test Pipes with In-Line Resonators for the 350z and G35 (2dr and 4dr)
These pipes replace your factory catalytic converters, letting all the exhaust pass through freely, but not the noise. Plain test pipes offer the highest level of flow, but often result in a "raspy" exhaust note between 3-4k rpm. Test pipes have always been high on the "bang for the buck" list, but the louder exhaust ote can be too aggressive for some people. So we now offer a full stainless straight through converter replacement, but with a stainless exhaust resonator welded in-line. This gives an equal amount of flow, but without the raspiness. The exhaust note will only be slightly louder, and have a slightly deeper tone.

yep just got them and put them on on Saturday...
only issue i'm having now is some exhaust leaks with the Borla setup - too many clamping points, thus causing some leaks...gonna try an fix that this weekend.... other than that - the kinetix are sweet - exhaust is nice and deep, and waaay better pull.... (maybe it's just me)

I just did mine this weeken and the sound is deeper, just a noise at around 4K which I think is the resonator vibrating against the heat shield and not raspiness.
