Yeah... that's the only thing that sucks. Every time I bring it in for service, I have to remember to remove them. I forgot once and they gave me a call. Even they couldn't get the blasted things off.

Default Screw them on tight...

Mine got stolen, along with my business partners Mercedes emblem, when they were parked side by side - I replaced with chrome ones with a hex head and put them on with a wrench - not too tight but enough that they required a wrench to remove. But, i just bought the theft proof with the Z logo from zeetoys.com - expensive but love the look. BTW, his visor cover stickers are pretty sweet too.

from the http://zeetoys.com website
Sorry, but this site is cancelled since 6/17/2003 7:15:52 PM.
Any ideas about that??I wanted to see these visor cover sticker things you mentioned.

i got my valve stem caps ripped off i think sometime last weekend. all 4 so im not really sure what people are doing with these things. they say rays on them and they are shiny big F'n deal leave a nice car alone. the next time i see a set of NON rays rims with rays stems, im going to steal theres. hehehe not that i pay that much attention to the stem valves. i guess it just forces me to get the Z logo locking valve covers.

I have those black rays caps but I never put them on my LMGT4's for the fear of finding them gone after returning from a grocery store. hahaha... I have those generic black plastic ones on now. I don't think anyone would take those.

I don't think I had mine for a week after buying the car. I was pissed but what the hell, at least they didn't damage the car. I'll get the locking ones eventually, for now I'm cap free.

yeah at least there wasn't any body damage. bought some generic silver ones and have been doing good for a couple months now. the chances are too high for it to happen again IMO... if it happens a 3rd time tho.. gonna rig it so that hot sauce squirts in their eye when they try to take them

I have plenty of my chrome caps solen at times. Sometimes just one, two, or all 4 as well. Like some of you guys I just gave up on it. I mean they are only $2, but an easy steal for anyone and even an alarm can't get set off while stealing them. I am still surprise that a lot of them aren't solen on the Benz and BMWs that I see everyday.

I remember in the 80's the dices use to be popular anyone ever had those?

yep just a few days ago someone jacked my "silver" generic auto parts store caps which i had bougt to replace my stock ones after they were stolen. the few dollars i spent on them doesnt bother me as much as the fact that there was someone touching and lurking around my car when they were stealing them. oh well

I agree the fact someone was messing with my car is worse than the stolen caps.
