Default Marilyn gets her banner!

I've been trying to nail down this banner for 1.5 years, but my dealer just kept stone walling me. Today, I attended a Nissan sponsored (not my dealership) "Z extravaganza" and was presented this banner by the Nissan rep at no charge!
I guess there are benefits to having 53,000 miles on her! Nissan ain't all bad! Regards, Jim

Nice! I've had my Z since July and I just broke 4500 miles today... not quite the same milestone as 50,000+

JimH...

The Nissan Rep did a "Good Thing" at 53,000 miles you are "A Leader"....

Just at 14,000 - I drive 30,000 a year total.. My Z is becoming a "Garage Queen" Ha!

Cheers Amy -

Tell your dad to quit messing with your mind and pop for a Z for you!
Yeah, this banner is incredible. Life size and gorgeous! I have been told that one of them went for $700 on Ebay and others have gone regularly for $300! Incredible.
I now have a pretty complete Le Mans Sunset collection with LS playing card full deck. The Run CD, Five different models up to 1/18 scale. A magazine story on Marilyn and a 24x30" color print framed found by my 10 yr. old grandson in his school library! I have more stuff, but the banner puts the cap on a terrific collection for me! Regards, Jim

Particularly since Marilyn & the Zzzz in the poster are both LS, I can't think of a better person to have that banner, Jim. Congrats.

By the way, I FINALLY got a couple Brick pics that, though not quite to your standard, are pretty dam cool. See the link below;

Default Way to go, Rat!!!

Great to see the pix come up of that beautiful Brickyard! They brought one in from the dealership today for the Z extravaganza and it still stops traffic! You have a winner! Regards, Jim

Jason, Yes, I have been sidelined a bit, but I am up and at 'em again!
That banner is not to be believed! Even though I have been trying to get one for a very long time, I really didn't know the size up close or the quality. It is incredible! Regards, Jim

Thanks for your kind words! Keep after that dealer and maybe one day he will get tired of your begging and turn loose of his banner!
The classic 350 Z in a classic setting.

No, "oops" are due from my end. Yes, that reply was meant for you, but I just looked over quickly while typing and saw "Ed" and didn't look further! Sorry 'bout that. Regards, Jim

ditto with Bonz, Jim.

Great story and outcome. Very well deserved. Great match between driver and banner.

Curious.. who are the guys holding up the banner.. from the Nissan dealership ?
