Default Nucking Futs! $700/month insurance

I just got a quote today from Farmer's Insurance.

Anyone got hookups on insurance?

This is absurd!

Are you sure that is not every six months. You should tell them its a Z not an Enzo.

I pay about 115 a month with allstate.

Try some online quotes. Some vary quite dramatically.

The best way to obtain insurance at a reasonable rate for your age is to place yourself under your parents' insurance for at least a couple of years.

Good luck

Your first mistake was trying Farmer's insurance. That's got to be one of the most expensive insurer's out there. Try Progressive, 21st Century, or Mercury.

If your record is good, call American Express Casualty for a quote. I'm paying $1380 a year for my 04 Z and my wifes 02 VW Passat.
Dont be upset with Farmers, thats there way of saying "No Thanks, we'ed rather not" but this way for the books it shows that they offered coverage to everyone possible. Thats the way it is. Numbers.

Default Progressive

You can check out progressive.

On my motorcycle they were WAY less than Allstate.

Also, check out prudential.

In the end you gotta just shop around. Different companies have different pricing depending on location, age, etc. You just gotta find the one that wants YOUR business.

Hey Vic,

You should change your name to "Mike Borgowski" ...

Try www.21st.com. Good quotes there.

Wow! I pay 1000 a year.

700 per month is totally crazy,

that would put a big time cramp in your Z ambitions.

Good luck finding a better rate. Makes you think even if you can
get it cheaper it's still gonna be crazy.

I pay 3500 a year for the Z and my 96 Accord (minimum coverage). When I moved out of New Haven, I saved about 1000.

Don't feel bad, my quote is, oh, about $3,000 for 6 months on a Z roadster. I hear though that once i'm a year into the military I can go under "military car insurance" which is cheaper.
Insurance is such a scam, they try and get most money as possible, when something happens they try their best not to cover you, and when they get enough money from you then something happens they drop you!
Women make better insurance agents than males anyways.

I pay $2200 a year but it's under my mother's name. And I'm in NJ. Have one speeding ticket.

Mine's $2,400 a year with All State and no tickets either (18 M).

Edit: Mine's under my name and btw, All State was the cheapest I could find my area out of Progressive, Farm, and Geico.
