mind you when my car heats up a good deal it seems to shut off VDC, TCS and ABS.

hmmm, that sound slike a good thing. If you find out what causes it then let us know as I'll want to 'implement' it on my car.

VDC on the gas is still unproven though.

Might not be the VDC at all ... it might be the rear diff or BA (or something else). It's very subte ... it's not like In can't slide the back out or do a burout/donut. Though, it feels like some power is being lost ie. like driving with your hand-brake up slightly.

...even when VDC button is turned off the system will engage 100% when the brakes are activated.

Is there a way to dissable it totaly? Personally, i would rather not have VDC at all, then have it activate when it wants to.

Default you may have missed me

I'm not sure if you saw it but I asked if you've pulled the brake light fuse because when the brake lights are activated the engines power is automatically limited to I think it was about 30% so barely touching the brakes at all would give you a VDC like response even if the VDC is off. The only way to stop that is to pull the brake light fuse.

No I have not tried it ... reason being that I want this for the track and last thing I want there is for my brake-lights not to be working. Not only that, they won't let you on the track here if your brake-lights don't work.

Though, the 'braking like' effect I feel in situation (b) ... that is not while braking, but instead when oversteering on throttle. It is very subtle but it feels like there is some brake action there.

Default Well, whats the concensous?

on the subject at hand. Ive been searching my rear off.

I interested in having the same size f/r tires. My guess is the VDC/ABS/TCS is not precision enough for the 1.6" difference in tire diameter to matter.

I guess I see for myself and just go stock rear size all around.
