TAKO I've been a member here for only a couple of days, but I used to own a Civic Si and I was a part of ClubSi.com for a year. I love this site. I want to see if you would be interested in having a 350z of the month. ClubSi used to do it. You can check their website for the layout and stuff. When users get to the homepage or forum main page A fairly good size picture of the 350z of the month would be there with list of mods, times, etc.
Users(posters) can send their cars pics and info in on a certain thread or something every month and one gets picked. We can even go further and have users(posters) vote for it instead of the moderators and owners of forum or whatever....just an idea. Keep up the good work

 

Also, how about opening up the forum to all Z car owners (240, 280, 300...)? If I remember correctly, JManZ snatched up www.myzcar.com after autoweek botched an article about the Z. They meant to say www.zcar.com. Just noticed that it still forwards to www.my350z.com.

Anyways, I think it would be cool to switch to www.myzcar.com and have sections for all the Z's.

I agree that it would be bad to expand to all Z's if it ended up detracting from the way things currently are on this site. It's just that I've noticed how much of a family atmosphere there is between old Z owners. I've heard/read mention from various old Z people that are somewhat disappointed that 350Z owners are hanging out by themselves.

Zcar does provide a newsgroup for all Z's but their web interface is not as powerful as this one and they lack moderators. A pain to post pictures there too.

From a money point of view, more Z's would mean potentially more $$$ from advertising.

If someone organize that content, I would do it. I am pretty busy... so thinking about having help of other 350Z owners to create more interesting content.

I welcome any ideas
