Default Saw The New Z!!

Figuratively...
In the magazine called Speed (published by Road & Track; I think it is their "tuner" version) it showed two pictures. One pic. was the version produced by Nissan Motor Corp. They Dubbed it the Fairlady Z Type E. The other was a Nismo version, I believe they called it the Nismo S-Tuned. The article stated that both models will be produced. The Nissan Corp. version had a completely new front end. 7" longer then the current 350Z. It reminded me of a Porsche (I think the 996). It looked much more aggresive and sporty (very nice). The rear was also stretched. I thought the rear looked terrible. The Nismo rear-end design looked awsome. Agressive/sporty and integrated the exhaust with very clean lines.
Sorry, no hard core numbers provided. They mentioned that the car would be lighter, and have better handling suspenion. They gave a huge range for horse power, 300 to 500 HP. I could not believe the price...$60,000. For that much money it better have at least 500 HP!

I forgot to mention:

The article stated that both versions would be for sale in the "Spring". I was in a rush to catch my movie, so I did not get a chance to buy or memorize the article. I don't know if they meant this spring or spring of 2005. It seems like it would be too late for spring 2004.

What's only going to be sold in Japan? The Type E or the Nismos?

I'm surprised SCC didn't mention that in their review of the Nismos. Not that I'd want either of them, but still.

hmm that body shape doesn't do it for me... and the wing, IMO, seems to look a lot bulkier (read: worse) in real life than in the promo pics from the website a few months ago

The front is hot. The wing may be hot but I cant focus with all that business going on with the rear bumper.

If someone ever makes a replica of that front, I WILL BUY!
