So I drop off my date tonight and am cruising home down the main stretch in the city. Ever since I picked up my car last week, every 16 year-old and his rusty Honda have wanted to race and I've ignored them. But tonight, this punk in his Prelude seemed to irk me. So I spanked him good. It was the first race... if you can call it that, in my car.

I feel so bad... I've lowered my baby to playing with stock Preludes... I better give her a good polishing tomorrow to make up for it.

I know exactly what you mean. I've been breaking the engine in on mine and haven't gotten on it too much. Tonight a mustang turning beside me was really goosing his engine trying to impress me and I couldn't help wonder who would win that battle. Looked like a stock GT but it definetly had a custom exhaust job on it. I've read some numbers on the Z and the numbers on the GT and the Z is on paper a little bit faster. If we both had AT's what other factors would I have to consider if it were simply a straight road race? Could a newbie driver (Been driving for 9 years just never had anything this fast) have taken him just by stomping the gas?

 

I guess it's better than having a maroon colored Navigator on 24 inch bling bling chrome spinners and super cool altezza's rev at you and try racing you in the busiest hour of traffic in the whole week.

 

Just get used to it. I won't even bother racing anyone unless they have POWER. ie, Z28, GT, STI, EVO...
