Default A new problem found today...

i went to go wash my car today and a new problem had occured.
I rolled down the window cuz the weather was nice, and since i'm about to wash the car, the window didnt' roll back up. it just made clicking noise and never went back up. i was gonna go straight to the dealer. I pushed the window down once and then tried it again. and it worked. all day long this happend.
have ne of u had this experience? i'm really starting to hate the car now. soo many problems.

Unreal.. sorry to hear your having a problem. i guess all you can do is take it to the dealer for a fix. I think I saw a TSB talking about this exact thing. I remember reading a post that said something about lightly taping the center of the door will make it work again. soemthing about a bad switch ..

good luck

I've had my window motor replaced too..... If the search worked, you'd see that it's a common problem but easily fixed..... I wouldn't stress about, just bring it in.....

Yes I had this problem on the driver side window.wouldn't work at all.took it in they replaced the motor which worked for about a week and then that one broke, took it back and they replaced motor again! It was ok because I had to take the car in because the trans was grinding,(again) and yes I need another transmission (my 3rd) their slogan should be SHIFT..GRIND..SHIFT...PAINT PROB..SHIFT... TIRE PROBLEMS..SHIFT... WINDOW PROBLEM...SHIFT ...GRIND AGAIN ......SHIFT .....ONTO A DIFFERENT CAR !!!!!!!

Well at least If I ever get a Z I’m glad to see it will be a step up in reliability from my first focus. (it dies with 50 miles on the odometer, the tranney went, so I got a new car from Ford)

Why do the cars I like always seem to be the ones with reliability issues?
