My Z insurance is $80 more a year than the F250 4x4 we have. I'm not worried.

The data realted to actual accident costs. not the inherant ease of repair, susceptability to damage etc.

Not surprsisngly large lumps of metal that do not go on average very fast will have the lowest score. My guess is that the Vette Roadsters are mainly fun/limited mileage/carefully driven/higher average driver age

That's what I thought until I saw the Porsche 911 had very high rates. That certainly is a car that only more mature drivers can afford.
