Notchy between first and second gear?
Just got a manual enthu over the weekend, and I think I'm just paranoid but whenever I shift from first to second it's really notchy and I hear a clicking sound.
Doesn't happen on all gears just first to second. I'm 100% sure that I'm depressing the clutch all the way too.
Is this normal?

I get this sometimes, usually when the car hasn't warmed up yet. A lot of people had this problem. I heard it gets better once you get a few thousand miles on it. 2nd gear on the Z is just a little notchy.
^ werd. Sometimes going into 3rd is kinda weird too. The car doesn't shift as smooth as other cars I've driven. I had the dealer test it out for 5 minutes+ last time I took my car in for service. They said everything was fine (and more importantly, documented it).

Ive had the same issue shifting gears from 1st to 2nd. It actually gets much better with time. I have 23k miles on my car and i can say the problem is almost gone completely. I cant remember the last time i shifted to 2nd and it was notchy like when the car was new. The sound of the throw out bearings is gone too.
Just remember to drive the car conservativly until it is warmed up.
I switched to Redline Oil MT90 for the tranny and 75W90 (or was it 75W80?) for the rear diff at 6400 miles and the only thing i noticed was the slicker shifts. The stick moved through neutral and the gates with less effort.
