STOP with the K&N peer pressure!
Alright, you bastards. Michael-Dallas, sKiDaZZLe, TXSTYLE, et. al., you can stop with the K&N badgering.
"Brad, you should get the K&N."
"Brad, why don't you get the K&N?"
"I've got the K&N, you should too."
I couldn't handle the pressure and broke down today. Bought the K&N in dropped it in. You know what? I LIKE IT! There! Are you happy now?!?

P.S. I love the new intake sound. No more of that raspy-*** noise the paper element made.

Well I am going to ask the question. I have wanted to ask it but have tried and tried to put it off.
Does anyone think the K&N has dropped the responsiveness of the engine? I cant tell any gains in sound or performance (I really wasn't looking for it) but I think it may be a bit more sluggish.
I did blot the filter and let it air out a day before installing it, so I don’t think I have oil on my MAF. I know after I put the cone on my Mustang GT, I reset the computer and gave the MAF a good cleaning before and after (one week) installation. I could tell a big difference.
Should I reset computer and clean my MAF just in case?
To clean the maf I use electrical contact cleaner in a pressurized can. I hope this is still ok with newer cars.
