. I have some Blaupunkt Overdrive series component speakers and a profile 75x4 amd I plan on incorporating into my sounds system on the Track model. I need rear speakers, a sub and another amp to complete.
Do the tweeters make much of a difference or are they all pretty much the same since they just do the really high frequencies. This is why I ask.
I'm thinking of using the 6.5" speaker and blaupunkt crossover up front, but instead of using the blaupunkt tweeter, substitute the standard one thats behind the side view mirrors. Will my amp overpower them or will it not sound that great? The blaupunkt tweeters are a little bigger than stock and it would be alot easier to just splice into the wire going to the standard speakers.
Thoughts?

Tweeters can make or break a system. Even if the midragnge is perfect, if the top end is to harsh or bright, it will make you want to turn down the music, whichis bad, as the while point is to really get involoved in the music. Sae goes the other way, if the trebble is roled off to much, you will be straining to hear any details.
