Add fornt diffuser/spoiler w/o rear spoiler?
I'm hoping some of the more technical types and race experianced can help answer this question:
1. Do you think it would be a mistake and/or dangerous to install the front spoiler/sir diffuser without the rear spoiler?
2. Do you think the fron spoiler/air diffuser would help reduce lift at high speed (by keeping air from traveling below the car) without the aid of the rear spoiler?
What do you guys think?? Is it possibly dangerous to install the front spoiler without the rear at NORAML (<100) people driving conditions?? (non-track applications) -- and even further, what about in more extreme situations (track days).

if your talking about the NISMO kit, i don't think it would matter if you didn't install the rear wing. I would love to put the front spoiler and side skirts on.
For the general population, who wouldn't reach 100+ mph on a constant basis, one could get away with this set-up.
Maybe raceboy, dwnshift, and others can elaborate on this issue better.

It's just simple aerodynamics. A front airdam does nothing but smooth airflow underneath the car for added top end. The wing i the back smooths airflow and generates downforce. They complement each other, but is not detrimental when used along.
Instead of 0.30 CD, you'll get 0.295 CD. Just kidding. 
Personally, as a $55 part, that black chin spoiler makes a really good lower-lip protector in case you find yourself encountering steep inclines and such.

I had the front spoiler on my Z for a while until i found time and the courage(11/16" hole ouch) to put the rear spoiler on. I don't think you have anything to worry about, no noticeable difference even at 100mph.. I'm sure its doing something, but not noticeable on the street. I installed the rear spoiler last night, again no noticeable night/day difference

Brad, you're thinking is correct.
Decreasing airflow under the car reduces lift. Good. Smoothing that airflow reduces turbulance, which creates lift. Good.
Don't worry about it under 100mph. But lower under-car positive pressure also helps the radiator/any heat producing element cool better. Good.
Any rear spoiler/wing MIGHT help reduce off/drop throttle oversteer. I probably should explain a bit further. At a vehicles cornering limit, ie dancing with loosing grip, taking one's foot off the gas reduces rear grip due to weight transfer, so the back end wants to "come around" more than intended. At elevated speeds, a rear wing will help "Plant" the rear tires, reducing snap oversteer.
I learned the hard way, with my 1970 VW, and more so with my Porsche 912.....neither had the HP to re-plant the rear tires.
SOOOOOOOOOO, when the back end DOES come loose, don't lift off the throttle.
Bottom line..........take a preformance driving school.....or race a swing axel vehicle
