FYI - it was a flashing red light.
Family and friends said Dysard was headed to Moroso Motorsports Park in his 2004 Nissan 350Z to watch the races Sunday.
About 12:39 p.m., Dysard was southbound on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, approaching a signal flashing red, a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report states.
At the same time, a 1998 Chevy Silverado pickup driven by Palm Beach Gardens resident Michael J. Strock, 19, was headed west on Indiantown Road toward the same signal, flashing yellow in his direction, the report states.
Dysard, who was wearing a seat belt, entered the intersection in front of Strock and was hit in the driver's side, the report states.
Dysard died at the scene. With serious injuries, Strock was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach where his condition was unavailable Monday evening. Two passengers in Strock's truck were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
Alcohol wasn't a factor in the crash, the report states.

Funny how a mis-reported or information missing post can really get people wined up.
In all likely hood Dysard stopped at the light, or rolled on the light. Or possibly he did "run the light". Didnt see the pickup and proceeded to cross. Or even possibly the pickup was speeding and Dysard could not/did not judge the trucks speed accuratly. I find myself having to take a double take now and then on certain roads. Especially roads that are on level ground with me and have a vast distance of view. Texas roads outside the city are prime examples. It can be hard to judge oncomming traffic speed when its a mile away traveling 130mph.
Obviously with the facts that have been gathered it is probubly safe to say that this was an "accident".
Very unfortunate

Humm Flashing Yellow
Yellow light in So Cal = Speed up.
It appears the Dead don't make out accident reports.
Seems as if the the Surviving party said the light was Green..
But a flashing Yellow ?

Some lights have flashing yellow on one side and flashing red on the other. Flashing yellow means slow down + right of way. Flashing red means stop and proceed when clear.
alex100, he was joking. Make sense now?
