Down here in FL, we have the FHP Camaro. They say that they can hit 100 in around 13 seconds. Not sure what a street camaro runs but that's pretty fast for a cop car. They also have the TOP NOTCH laser equipment.

Yea FHP used to use Mustangs many years ago, I liked that cuz they were so easy to pick out at night by their headlights. I used to see one FHP guy in a black Vette pulling people over on the Turnpike all the time. I think most of them drive Caprice or whatever these days.

 

I know for sure they got te z28 cause on my way to work i usally see one pulling over truckers. And the local sherrifs have thier SUV's and stuff. But the standard is the Crown vic, Caprice or the newer Impala at least for riverside PD.

 

Where I live we have the usually Crown Vics, as well as the impalas, and even some cavilers (traffic duty) as well as a bunch of unmarked cars such as a Taurus, explorer, eclipse, etc.
I remembering reading a article on one town that always used to use Saabs, that just recently switched over to ford explorers.
