Default 3,000 Miles. Switch all my fluids?

Hey guys, about to roll 3,000 miles so time for my first oil change. Was wondering if anyone had any opinions if I should swap out the Tranny and Brake fluid as well

I heard that switching tranny oil to something other than Nissan's voids the warranty on the tranny. Although, I think if the oil meets the specs than it shouldn't void the warranty. I can't see any benefit in changing brake fluid that soon.

The 3750 mile inspection changes oil and filter, as well as inspects all fluids in the car. Its $28 and change, so go in ans ask for your 3750 check.

yo Josh, I would get the oil changed as soon as possible because when I first got the Z (and the search wasnt broken) I looked this up. Basically members recommend that you change your oil after the first 500 miles to flush out all of the metal shavings from the engine. I heard that shavings can get caught in the rings and it will end up burning oil quickly for the duration of the cars life. So many recommend doing this at 500 miles then doing the 3,750 check up. I got my oil changed first at 1000 miles and will take it in at 3750. Also about the Nissan oil, someone told me you should wait until the second oil change to use synthetic if you are, and warranty shouldnt be an issue if you provide the sythetic and they do the service
