MY Z went by TODAY!

MY Z went by TODAY!
I got the call a couple of weeks ago and expect my Z in the next week or so.
In the mean time, I am currently doing a remodel on my house. Building up and out, trying to take advantage of the view potential. (Currently from the roof I have a pretty good ocean view, I'm 5 blocks away)
So expecting my Z, I have been wondering if the first one I'd see would be MY CAR when I picked it up at the dealership.
Well today that did NOT happen.
I was out working on the new house footings, cutting rebar , laying concrete block, etc, etc and I look up and down my street here comes MY Z!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering (and getting excited) hey, they must be coming here to deliver it to me! Yea baby! I freeze, drop my tools (almost lost a toe or two) and wait for it to pull up.
Well, the guy driving up sees me, slows down, looks over, and lets out this big *** smile as he drives on by watching me check him out. I yell out, Dude, thats MY CAR?!
Silverstone, spoilers, charcole leather and six spoke wheels.
If it was a 6 speed, (good bet) IT WAS MY CAR!
Dam, I just cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your story started out all normal and than your z hysteria came out at the end.It will be ok you will make it say it with me now!When your house is finished lets see some pics of that view

Went through my daily Internet ritual of checking my dealer's inventory for cars. There were 2 new ones on the list. They were not the color I ordered, but I let another member of this board know since he ordered from the same dealer. He contacted the dealer who said "Gee, they just showed up. Haven't even shown up on the inventory report yet."
Sounds like my dealer (and maybe quite a few others) just doesn't make any effort to check the status of pre ordered cars. I told my sales guy about the reports months ago, but apparently nothing stuck. Very frustrating. My car might be on the boat or even in port somewhere and I won't know about it until I see it on the Internet.
