Default No More Mods?

I was thinking today about how much fun I am having modding my Z. Modding is actually one of the things I enjoy most about owning the Z.

Even though I've done alot to the car since buying it in December '03, there's still quite a few things I can do. But what happens when I run out of mods to do?

Any of you get to that point where your car is modded out? Do you miss those "weekend projects"? Did it make you change how you felt about your Z and make you consider geting a new project car?

In my experience, I modded my cars until I had achieved everything I wanted...which was too much. There is a point of diminishing returns. Having spent way too much time, energy , and money on cars, I have come to the conclusion that KISS is the best policy. Reliability issues, always worrying about your car getting dinged/jacked/wrecked, etc, plus all the wasted money...
I guess I've matured, and I appreciate a few subtle, tasteful mods, but while I love to work on my car, I prefer to DRIVE my car to its fullest potential.

I've got a few mods yet ahead of me. I was hoping that it wouldn't come to that...

when you run out of stuff to buy for the car. spend money on learning how to drive it ... get some seat time at your local road course!

I am pretty much done. when the warranty runs out in four more years I may go TT and when the clutch needs replacing I will probably go jim wolf or nismo on the clutch. but other than that I am not doing anything else.

i am defintely not going to break open the engine for cams or anything.

POSSIBLY headers if I just cannot do without....

thats it!
