i used to get wheel hop when i didnt rev the engine high enough.

Hmmm . . . I never get wheel hop, but I'm pondering over a Cusco LSD to alleviate some traction issues related to the TT

i once left some good marks all the way though first then all the way thourgh second. and chirped in to 3rd. they all had little areas inbetween them where i had shifted. all was done with out brakes, and was all done on a dry day too. i was pritty amped.
