Le mans sunset or chrome silver?
Ok so ive narrowed it down to these two colors. One is here in San diego the other is in Riverside. Pretty much the same price. Ive like LS for a while but i obviously only see it once in a while. Do any of you LS z owners have and complaints? What are other people's reaction to the color? I figure the CS is pretty safe bet, but seeing so many Zs out here in SoCal these days makes me want to be a little different.

Re: Le mans sunset or chrome silver?
I originally didn't like the 'copper'. It kinda grows on you, though. I referred to it as 'god awful copper',. It looks better with the right wheel package & interior. I chose the silverstone because I liked the classic look, plus it doesn't show dust as quickly as other colors. Be bold if you like, no matter what it is a sharp vehicle and a very sweet ride!]

I say get the Chrome Silver, why you ask? cause I picked the Lemans Sunset, I thought it was diferent. But if a lot of people start getting the Lemans then it won`t be, it will be just another nice color.
Honestly, get what you like. Sunset for me!

Oh and also in my opinion. The lemans looks amazing in sunlight, like in my signature, but at night I don't really like it all that much...it's too brownish looking. I wish Nissan could have made the Z in that new sunburst color that the Sentra SE-R has...or this from a Z concept:

Gotta love the LeMans.....Everyone complimetns on the color and how much they like......prolly because they rarely see it. I was afraid I would tire of it ...but took a chance. Still Loving it. Especially the different lighting effects that it pulls off.

Just have to put my two cents in for the CS. You wont have to worry about swirls on your car. Maintenance is alot lower. PLus 5 years from now you'll have the classic Z which came in CS. Just think about 5 years down the road which color you'd still like to look at.

LS color
Every morning when I wake up and look at the Lemans it just makes me smile, I didn't want a sports car that did not have a bold and vivid look the Lemans did it. Plus most people that i've run into like the way it looks at night under the street lights, The color just seem to change with the sun

I'd pick the Sunset Orange if I were U. Although many of the racers around my town are now painting their car that color. Not sure what it's like in your town. I only picked my car because it had navigation. Silverstone wasn't too high on my list but that's not because I didn't like it. I just wanted the Orange, Blue, or White but they didn't have any with Nav. But now I love Silverstone. It just looks awesome.
I wouldn't get the Chrome Silver. It's just TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO common. I think 90% of the Zs in my town are Chrome Silver. Followed by Blue and the Silverstone. White, Black, and Orange are rare. I can't help but stare at the orange Zs.

Seems silly to say that the Z is classic in silver and then wonder what the LeMans will look like in 5 years.......Classic? What about the first Z's hitting the US shores in the 70's? ......those 240's were orange and very similar to the LeMans Sunset offered today. It would have been obsurd not to offer the 350 in a color in it's return year that wasn'tpaying homage to the debut year model. IMO, LeMans is more classic than the Silver.......if you look at the heritage.
Either way, you get a sexy car that performs well for the money and looks great in any color.

I really wanted the sunset, but i went for the black, i was worried that having a color that stuck out would be an invite for trouble, you know like getting keyed, and from what i have heard on this board i was right.
