What are the possible consequences??
After a long day's work, I decide to let my co-worker drive me home. She gets onto the highway, then i notice that she was driving with the hand brake on. damn. i immediately pushed the hand brake down and everything went back to normal. So far the car doesn't seem to have an obvious problems, but could there be? and what should i do if they happen? Thanks in advance.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I've done that quite a few times. Damn auto transmission thing keeps fooling me. The wife has an auto in the Frontier and we never use the parking brake.
Anyway, I've travelled at highway speed with it on.. ... and I haven't had any problems that I could tell. If I do, I think I'll blame the techs at the dealership .
I definately don't trust it as a parking brake at this point though.

the 350's handbrake isn't that powerful unless you pull it up really hard... so if you had it up just a little, which i think is what happened, you can't even tell that its' up while youre driving. with the handbrake up hard, you can noticeable tell that something is holding the car from accelerating.
as far as damage, take off your rear wheels and inspect your rotors, make sure they're not scratched or anything, if its bad enough you could get them resurfaced and upgrade brake pads...
you should be okay if it wasn't yanked up all the way
