Falling out of love
My tires are starting to feather as well. I recently test drove the corvette Z06 and debating on selling the Z and picking up the Z06 cause the dealers are offering big discounts. I still love my Z but I was blown away by the speed of Z06. I am scared of the realibilty of the corvette.

kinda like falling out of love with a stripper, once you get up close and personal you realize it is loose and made of cheap plastic, and after a few miles it starts making funny noises

OK Get this thread on track. I didn't mean to de-rail it.
I too thought I was problem free up until 10000 miles. I have a late production 2003 Touring with all options and have already spent a couple of grand in mods. The tire feathering started not too long ago and I got that fixed. Some hater kicked my door in and I got that fixed with the addition of a $700 alarm. I give up now, I have no desire to mod my car anymore. I already paid close to $40K for my car and the stereo is horrible and the stock wheels are crap. To get it to be the car I really wanted would cost me about an additional $10K in mods. Should've just stuck with my Audi or I should've bought a used Porsche. I am officially done with fixing my Nissan and count the days to trade this puppy in and lay it to rest and give somebody else the headaches.
The factory rims are fragile as hell and they look plastic. They have gotta be the ugliest 18 inch rims out there. Audi and Porsche might not be better with having problems, but I guarantee they are better in having the problems fixed.

But what can we tade it in for that is as good looking, at least as powerful, handles well, is RWD, has no major, and under 40K????
That new Lotus Elise is a bit to radical, but does look and sound like a sweet ride, but I can see problems witten all over that, with a Lotus tuned Toyota motor. That Sti is well,,,,just BFU.
